My name is Emily Hunt.

I like poetry, salsa dancing, and liquorice catherine wheels.

I also like to make things that are both beautiful and effective.

That means getting to know what a client wants to achieve out of their project and developing a high quality design to match their needs. I have over a year's worth of marketing and communications experience and I apply the strategic understanding I developed to ensure that the final product both looks great and gets results.

I began my forray into graphic design during a marketing internship at the University of Sheffield Enterprise. Teaching myself to use the software (Corel Draw) on the job, I designed and project manged the production of the Celebration of Enterprise Brochure 2015.

On the strength of this, my manager recommended me to DS Creative, a graphic design, print, and web design agency in Sheffield, where I secured a four month temporary contract as a graphic designer. Working in the fast paced commercial environment, I developed my understanding of contemporary design trends and my sensitivity to client needs.
